If the cavity is small to moderate, we can typically remove the decay and restore the tooth with a high-strength, tooth-coloured filling in just one visit. For more advanced decay that has reached the inner part of the tooth, additional treatments such as a root canal or a protective dental crown may be required to save the tooth and prevent further infection.
